NaPoWriMo Day 21! The prompt for today was to play around with writing that doesn’t make formal sense, but which engages all the senses and involves dream-logic. This poem is actually a reinterpretation of an old poem I wrote about nightmares. But the nightmares changed and so did the poem. Today’s poem is titled ‘Le cauchemar’ in French which means nightmare.
